New selection process for Member Positions at the Social Security Tribunal of Canada

The Government of Canada is currently seeking applications for full-time and part-time member positions for the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. The objective is to create an inventory of highly qualified candidates from across Canada that reflects Canada’s diversity. Although we are accepting applications from across Canada, we have a specific need for candidates from Alberta and francophone and bilingual candidates from Quebec and the Maritimes.

The mandate of the Social Security Tribunal is to render fair and impartial quasi-judicial decisions on appeals related to the Employment Insurance Act, the Canada Pension Plan, and the Old Age Security Act. Further details about the organization and its activities can be found on its website. To apply or to get more information, interested candidates are encouraged to visit the Governor in Council Appointments website.
